HAMAFUKUTSURU JUNMAI DAIGINJO

This brewery is located in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, a historic and well-known sake producing region in the southwest of Japan. Sake from Kobe are bigger and bolder in style especially compared to the Northern parts of Japan. Hyogo prefecture is known for its mineral spring water and the birthplace of the famous sake rice, Yamada Nishiki, the king of sake rice. This sake’s beautiful name comes from “Hama” for beach, “Fuku” for good fortune, and “Tsuru” for Crane. The birthplace of this Junmai Daiginjo sake is Kobe, home to world famous beef.


Tasting Notes: With aromas of ripe apples, a rich taste and a very smooth finish, this sake’s local ingredients create a masterpiece.
