AN TOKUBETSU JUNMAI MUROKA

Brewed with Omachi rice, the oldest heirloom sake rice variety and ancestor to the renowned Yamada Nishiki rice. Junmai Muroka is a "pure rice" (Junmai) sake that has not undergone charcaol filtration (Muroka), resulting in a richer, more expressive flavor profile and often a slightly yellow hue. By skipping charcoal filtration, the sake retains its natural, raw character, often featuring complex savory notes, lively acidity, and a smooth, rich mouthfeel.


Tasting Notes: Rich layers of citrus, yellow apples, peach blossom, marzipan, and cedar. It offers a mineral-driven complexity with a crisp, refreshing finish.
